Ed Yantz entered the septic industry in 1969 after working in the concrete sector. At the time, sewage tanks were commonly built from railroad ties or steel, but Ed believed there was a better solution. After researching alternatives, he returned to his concrete expertise as the ideal material for reliable sewage containment.

In 1989, he founded ED Marketing Enterprises to bring concrete septic tanks to Southern Alberta. Over the years, the company expanded beyond septic tanks to include cisterns, water and wastewater solutions, irrigation supplies, and geotextiles. By steadily growing its product lines, ED Marketing Enterprises has become a trusted partner for contractors, municipalities, and homeowners across the region.
